Jeff and Heather Setzer

Heather Setzer was born in Charlottesville, VA, March 2, 1971.  After her father, Ken Sheets, was saved when she was young, her family began attending church, and that is where Heather learned that she was a sinner who needed a Savior.  She was saved in a revival meeting in Kentucky at age 8 and about age 11 she dedicated her life to the Lord.  She grew up in Chattanooga, TN while her father was in seminary at Tennessee Temple University.  It was during this time that Heather was privileged to attend a Christian school.   After her junior year of high school, the family moved to Oregon where Heather finished high school through home schooling.  After graduating in 1987, she attended Tennessee Temple University for 2 years, and then transferred to Bob Jones University in SC after her sophomore year to complete her degree in Elementary Education (Music minor).  In 1992, she and Jeff met and they were married in 1993.  Jeff took an assistant pastorate in 1994 in Tennessee, where Heather served as church secretary and church pianist, and taught piano at home.  After leaving Tennessee, they traveled with an evangelist for 2 years while Heather taught the evangelist’s children.  In 2000, she and Jeff began Creation Family Ministries, and Heather continues to help and support Jeff in this ministry, as well as serving as VBS teacher and record keeper.  She loves teaching elementary age children and traveling!
